Battlefield Treks
The military history of the Kokoda campaign is the key feature of our treks.
Our Kokoda Campaign Treks include all battlefields, fire support bases and logistic areas of the Kokoda campaign. From the historic 'Golden Staircase' on Imita Ridge, 'Australia's Alamo' at Isurava,'Butcher's Ridge' on Brigade Hill to the eastern side of the Yodda Valley, our treks take you to the sites that matter, bypassed by much of today's 'eco-tourist' track.

About our Battlefield Trek leaders
Our Adventure Kokoda trek leaders are military historians - we have leaders who have been decorated on active service in Vietnam, trained with the US Army Special Forces and commanded Australian frontline battleships.
Our trek leaders draw on their personal experiences in the military and their long-term relationships with WWII veterans to tell the epic story of the Kokoda campaign.
